Thurrock Pupil Premium Network

The Thurrock Pupil Premium Network has been established to bring together a wide range of colleagues to collaborate on effective use of the Pupil Premium Grant to support outcomes for disadvantaged children and young people in Thurrock.

 

Thurrock PP Network

Core Aims

  • To share successful strategies, discuss key messages, research and intelligence
  • To develop local knowledge that can be shared to meet local needs
  • To work collaboratively on new approaches
  • To share resources where ever possible

 Communication

  • To develop effective mechanisms for identifying shared PPG needs
  • To clearly articulate aims and improvement priorities
  • To develop trust in the network to allow effective collaboration to take place
  • To build on existing relationships, networks and communities
  • To develop a dissemination, monitoring and impact strategy

 Operations

  • Every Thurrock school is invited to each meeting
  • 3 scheduled meetings per year
  • Additional meetings called as necessary regarding shared practice
  • To clearly articulate aims and improvement priorities

 Partnerships

  • To develop a wider community of highly effective practitioners, who will engage actively in shared practice.
  • To engage with schools/partners beyond Thurrock where appropriate
